INGREDIENTS

1/3 cup heavy cream

1/2 large ripe banana

3 cups white chocolate chips

1 teaspoon banana extract

3 cups white chocolate

1 cup dark chocolate

Sprinkles

Some red M&Ms

SUPPLIES

Some bowls

A saucepan

A spatula

A scoop

Some precision dipping tools

A spoon

DIRECTIONS

Cut the M&Ms in half.

Mash the banana.

Microwave the white chocolate chips for 30 seconds.

Add the white chocolate to the mashed banana, stirring until well-combined.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, add the cream and heat it just until it starts to simmer.

Pour the hot cream over the white chocolate-banana mixture and mix until it’s smooth. If the chips don’t melt completely, you can put the mixture back in the microwave for a bit.

Mix in the banana extract.

Put the mixture in the freezer for about an hour, or until it’s firm.

Scoop some ganache and roll it into a ball. If it’s too sticky, you can roll it in powdered sugar to make it easier to work with.

Repeat with the remaining ganache and place the balls back in the freezer.

Melt or temper the white chocolate.

Dip a truffle into the white chocolate, allow it to drain, then place it on a lined baking sheet.

Melt or temper the dark chocolate.

Pour a small amount of chocolate on top of a truffle.

Add some sprinkles.

Top with an M&M half.

Repeat with the remaining truffles and leave them on the counter to set.
