Haystacks

INGREDIENTS

1 cup (180g) butterscotch chips

½ cup (135g) peanut butter

½ cup (73g) salted peanuts

2 cups (336g) chow mein noodles

1 tube of Mini M&Ms


SUPPLIES

A large microwave-safe bowl

A spatula

Two spoons

Some parchment

A cutting board


DIRECTIONS

Add the butterscotch chips and peanut butter to the bowl.

Set the microwave to medium power and cook in 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval. Do this until the chips are melted.

Add the chow mein noodles and peanuts and gently mix until everything is coated with the butterscotch mixture.

Using the two spoons, drop the mixture onto the lined cutting board, forming the haystack shapes.

Immediately sprinkle on a few M&Ms.

Repeat with the rest of the chow mein mixture.

Allow the haystacks to cool completely at room temperature until they’re firm.
