Independence Day Fudge

This gorgeous and tasty piece of patriotic perfection will be the star attraction of any picnic table.

INGREDIENTS

3 3/4 cups (675g) of white chocolate chips

1 14 oz (397g) can of sweetened condensed milk

1 tsp of vanilla extract

Some food coloring

Some colored sugar.

SUPPLIES

An 8×8 pan

Some parchment

A microwave-safe bowl

A spatula

DIRECTIONS

Line the pan and set it aside.

Place the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk in the bowl and microwave for one minute.

Let it set for a couple of minutes, then give it a good stir. If the white chocolate isn’t fully melted, continue microwaving in 15- to 30-second intervals until it’s melted and smooth.

Divide the fudge evenly into 3 bowls and mix in the food coloring.

Add the blue fudge to the lined pan, saving a little bit as a topping.

Do the same with the red fudge.

Add all of the white fudge, then strategically add the remaining colored fudge and use a toothpick to make it pretty.

Place it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours until set.

Remove it from the fridge and cut it into whatever size pieces you’d like.
