The perfect recipe for a classic treat.
INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup (230g) of sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 teaspoon of peppermint extract
4 cups (500g) of powdered sugar
1.5 cups (270g) of chocolate
SUPPLIES
A mixer
A spatula
A cutting board
Some parchment paper
A couple of precision dipping tools
DIRECTIONS
In a mixing bowl, add the sweetened condensed milk, peppermint extract and powdered sugar.
Mix until it forms a dough.
Form the dough into patties, either by
1) forming the dough into balls, then flattening them into disks.
or
2) flattening the dough with a roller, then cutting out the disks with a cookie cutter.
Put the patties in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
Temper the chocolate, then dip a patty into the chocolate, let the excess drain, and place it onto the lined cutting board.
Once all of the patties are dipped, let them rest on the counter until the chocolate has set.
