If you’ve never combined chocolate mint with Rice Krispy Treats, you need to make this ASAP!
RMC has an Amazon Storefront! If you see an ingredient or piece of equipment in a video and think you’d find it useful, click here and check it out. If you decide to purchase something in the storefront, I’ll receive a small percentage, but it won’t increase your price at all.

INGREDIENTS
6 cups (170g) Rice Krispies cereal
6 cups (283g) of marshmallows
4 Tbsp (56g) unsalted butter
1 cup (165g) mint chocolate baking bits
1 cup (170g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
For Dipping the Treats
3/4 cup of chocolate melting wafers
3/4 cup of mint chocolate baking bits
Some green sprinkles.
SUPPLIES
An 8×8 baking pan
Some microwave-safe bowls
Parchment Paper
A spatula
A cutting board
A silicone mat
DIRECTIONS
Line the pan and set it aside.
Combine 2 Tbsp of butter and half of the marshmallows, then microwave in 30-second bursts until smooth
Fold in 3 cups of cereal.
Press the mixture into the lined pan. Press firmly, but don’t overdo it.
Let it rest for a few minutes, then lift it out of the pan and set it aside. This is going to be our top layer.
Reline the pan and repeat the process with the remaining butter, marshmallows, and cereal.
Press this into the bottom of the pan to create the base layer.
Combine 1 cup of mint chips and 1 cup of semi-sweet chips, then microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until it’s smooth and completely melted.
Pour the chocolate over your base layer and spread it evenly all the way to the edges.
Place the top layer you created earlier in the pan and gently press it onto the melted chocolate.
Leave it on the counter for about half an hour, then put it in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes.
Remove it from the pan and cut it into whatever size pieces you’d like.
Melt the remaining mint bits and melting wafers and dip a treat into the chocolate.
Let the excess drain, then place it on a lined cutting board and immediately add some sprinkles.
Repeat with the remaining pieces.
