Popcorn balls with the flavors of Fall? Yes, please!
INGREDIENTS
10 cups of popped popcorn
4 tablespoons of butter
1 cup of candy corn
1/4 teaspoon of salt
4 cups of mini marshmallows
SUPPLIES
A large mixing bowl
A large saucepan
A spatula
Some gloves
Some cooking spray
Some parchment paper
DIRECTIONS
Pop the popcorn and place it in the mixing bowl. Make sure you don’t get any unpopped kernels in there.
In a large saucepan, melt the 4 tablespoons of butter over medium-low heat.
Add the candy corn and salt.
Stir constantly until the candy corn is almost completely melted.
Add the marshmallows.
Continue stirring constantly until the mixture is completely melted.
Immediately remove the saucepan from the heat and carefully pour the mixture over the popcorn.
Use the spatula to gently mix the popcorn and coating.
To thoroughly mix, don the gloves, spray them with a bit of cooking spray, and mix the popcorn and glaze until everything is evenly coated.
Scoop up some of the coated popcorn and carefully form it into a ball.
Place the popcorn ball on the parchment paper, then repeat until all the mixture is used.
At some point, you may want to either wash or replace the gloves and add another light coating of cooking spray.
